Saxa Vord is the European space centre on Shetland Islands. From 2022, Saxa Vord will offer
modern, cost efficient and reliable infrastructure and will operate launch pads for sub-orbital
as well as orbital launches into polar and sun-synchronous orbits. Furthermore, Saxa Vord can
offer test campaigns for various launcher components and support research and
development efforts within the space industry. Finally, Saxa Vord will operate a ground station
and provide related services thereto. Also through its presence in Munich, Saxa Vord sees
itself as a partner for the European space industry.
